When you're talking about trout flies, you're talking about the heart of LDF Fly Fishing Tackle. Many of our customers have bought flies from us since 1980. They continue to buy from LDF. They compliment us on our American tied flies. Why shouldn't they compliment us? LDF's flies are well constructed and durable--meant to catch fish.

Remember folks, all of the flies you see on this site were tied in the USA. Period. The only time we have ever sold flies made outside this country was when we sold the Roman Moser Plushille baitfish flies, which were made in Austria. Before we sell flies made in fly tying factories located in third world countries, we will go out of business. Strong talk, but we mean it.

Prices and sizes are indicated on each page. Also, when you see either Daiichi or Mustad in parentheses followed by a number, that indicates the manufacturer and model of the hook we use on that particular pattern.
