This fly is great for imitating caddis and emerging mayflies like the March Brown. However, keep in mind this fly will catch trout just about anytime they're willing to hit. In that respect, it's a little like the Adams--a great prospecting fly. This is the best dry fly pattern I have ever used, topping even the venerable
Adams. Tied with brown hare's mask fur; the hackle is mixed brown and grizzly.
A great pattern from LDF Fly Fishing Tackle.
