These feathers are great for soft hackle wets, streamers, nymphs, and even hopper patterns. Buy some of these feathers and do some experimenting. The special ringneck feathers are great for hopper patterns. Spread lacquer on the feathers, let them dry, then tie them over the back. The partridge feathers are tops for the smaller soft hackles. Brown partridge can make a good fly deadly.
